In OSINT Module 4 (IOSI104), OSINT and Cyber-HUMINT come together at expert level. You work on FLINT, cyberpsychology and Predictive Forensic Data Analytics & Visualization®, among other subjects. On completion you receive the post-graduate diploma Registered Open Source Intelligence Expert-A®.

About the program
A unique program: OSINT and Cyber-HUMINT at expert level
After successfully completing IOSI103 you can progress to IOSI104. In this module you extend your Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) knowledge with specialized techniques for searching and analyzing public sources and with applications of Cyber Human Intelligence (Cyber-HUMINT).
A key component of IOSI104 is the integration of Cyber-HUMINT. Understanding and analyzing online behavior and text is central to this. By studying the psychological aspects of human interaction online, you learn to extract more information from digital human sources. You learn to recognize subtle nuances in online communication and examine to what extent texts can provide indications about a person, their background or emotional state. In this way you gather not only factual information but also more insight into the people behind that information, including their possible motives, interests and considerations. Recognizing context and underlying meaning results in a more accurate and complete picture.
After completing IOSI104 you have in-depth knowledge and skills at the intersection of OSINT and Cyber-HUMINT.

Exclusive at IACA
Cyber-HUMINT toolset as an extension of OSIDATA®
During this module you gain access to the Cyber-HUMINT toolset: an extension of OSIDATA®, the exclusive IACA learning platform with current OSINT and SOCMINT tools. This extension includes tools you use during the six phases of the Cyber-HUMINT process, such as capturing and analyzing online publications and building an online profile of a subject.
With these tools you work on digital profile and group analysis of criminal and financial networks, on interpreting language use and online interactions and on protecting your own identity and digital information during covert operations, that is, covert digital investigative activities.
In addition, you learn to work with the unique OSINT methodologies and procedures developed by IACA. The integration of the IACA toolset and methodologies makes this program unique and available exclusively at IACA.

Target group
Who is this program developed for?
IOSI104 is developed for professionals who have completed IOSI103 and want to expand their Open Source Intelligence expertise further. The module focuses in particular on integrating Cyber-HUMINT techniques within OSINT investigations.
You learn to apply these Cyber-HUMINT techniques when tracing, analyzing and interpreting digital information. The program offers in-depth and practically applicable approaches for working environments where accurate analysis of online sources, digital information flows and online behavior is essential.

Course formats
Open, private or customized
While this program is usually offered as an open program, we understand that you may need a private setting given the nature of your work. With at least fifteen participants, we can provide a private training session at our location. We also offer tailored programs based on parts of this module. We are happy to put together a suitable proposal.
All private programs can be offered in Dutch or English.
All our instructors are screened and have signed non-disclosure agreements with various government agencies. A specific non-disclosure agreement for your organization or service is also possible.

This program is provided in person at our location in Gilze-Rijen. Open programs are taught in Dutch by default. Private programs can also be offered in English.
