    Job description – Teacher

    Location: Gilze-Rijen

    Employment contract: 28 hours per week (standard on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday; Thursday/Friday flexible)

    Freelance teachers with expertise in this field are also invited to apply for placement in specific courses.

    About the position

    The International Anti-Crime Academy (IACA) is a leading training provider in the field of (financial) crime prevention. To strengthen our team, we are looking for an instructor who combines subject matter expertise with a passionate approach to knowledge transfer.

    Core tasks and responsibilities

    • Providing lessons, training and master classes;
    • Developing teaching materials that are in line with current developments and practical issues;
    • Guiding participants during the training;
    • Keeping up to date with professional and technological developments and translating these into education;
    • Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to the substantive development of the curriculum.

    Your profile

    • You have excellent teaching and communication skills and are able to convey complex subjects clearly;
    • You have experience in conducting research and can get to grips with a topic;
    • You preferably have demonstrable work experience in one or more of the following domains:
    • Fraud investigation
    • Financial research
    • Investigation / intelligence
    • You preferably have legal knowledge in the field of criminal and/or private law;
    • You are curious, eager to learn and willing to follow training courses or training;
    • You are well informed about relevant social developments;
    • You are a positive team player with a proactive work attitude;
    • You are looking for a long-term position and want to commit yourself to an organization in a lasting manner;
    • You feel responsible for the quality and topicality of the knowledge you transfer;
    • You are of course of good conduct;
    • You have an excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written, and you have a good command of English.
