About the program
Out-of-the-box thinking in complex investigations
After successfully completing IOSI102 you can progress to the follow-up module IOSI103. This three-day module builds on the knowledge you have already acquired and deepens your expertise in Open Source Intelligence. The emphasis is on out-of-the-box thinking: you learn to deploy alternative sources and investigative methodologies when the usual route runs dry and you learn to run complex, multidisciplinary investigations. This is directly applicable to the practice of intelligence-driven work, both in financial investigations and in broader security and investigative contexts. On completion of this module you have in-depth knowledge and expert-level skills within the OSINT field.

Exclusive to IACA
Access to the unique IACA toolset
During this module, participants gain access to a unique toolset, specially developed by IACA. This IACA toolset can be used for the analysis and visualization of the information you have gathered. With the toolset you can organize large volumes of data, reveal patterns and connections and bring separate data points together into a coherent picture. These tools are valuable for various applications, including financial investigations, tracing individuals and analyzing criminal networks.
IACA Graph Explorer. For mapping online networks and connections you work with the IACA Graph Explorer, a tool developed by IACA itself that visualises people, organizations and other entities together with their relationships. The visualization helps you recognize connections that are not immediately visible in separate data points. Everything runs entirely locally, so your investigation data never leaves your own computer. The IACA Graph Explorer is one of the tools IACA develops in house. You receive this tool free of charge as part of the program.
In addition, participants are trained in the unique OSINT methodologies and procedures developed by IACA. These enable them to gather and analyze information in a structured and efficient way, both for financial-economic questions and for broader security and investigative purposes.
Through the integration of the versatile IACA toolset and methodologies, this training is unique and available exclusively at IACA.

Course formats
Open, private or customized
While this program is usually offered as an open program, we understand that you may need a private setting given the nature of your work. With at least fifteen participants, we can provide a private training session at our location. We also offer tailored programs based on parts of this module. We are happy to put together a suitable proposal.
All private programs can be offered in Dutch or English.
All our instructors are screened and have signed non-disclosure agreements with various government agencies. A specific non-disclosure agreement for your organization or service is also possible.

This program is provided in person at our location in Gilze-Rijen. Open programs are taught in Dutch by default. Private programs can also be offered in English.
