Recognition and certification
In 2017, the International Anti-Crime Academy submitted IOSI101:OSINT Module 1 , IOSI102:OSINT Module 2 , and IOSI103:OSINT Module 3 of the Registered Open Source Intelligence Expert-B® program to the Center for Post-Initial Education (CPION) for assessment. This organization serves as the official point of contact for educational institutions wishing to register their post-initial programs as accredited registered programs. CPION is responsible for ensuring the quality of organizations such as the Foundation for Post-Higher Professional Education in the Netherlands (SPHBO). Only programs that meet strict quality criteria are eligible for the "registered program" designation and are also included in the Dutch Education Database.
A requirement for registration with the SPHBO is that the course material offered, in this case the Registered Open Source Intelligence Expert-B® program, meets the expectations of a registered program in terms of level, depth, topicality, and relevance to the labor market, as assessed by the expert Advisory Committee affiliated with the institute. When assessing a registered program, various elements such as content, duration, number of teaching hours, study load, practical assignments, exam assignments, and so on are reviewed and monitored by this Advisory Committee.
The above procedure has resulted in the International Anti Crime Academy being authorized to issue a registered and recognized Post-HBO diploma for the following training:
Registered Open Source Intelligence Expert- B®
To ensure the quality and labor market relevance of this training, the International Anti Crime Academy has also set up an external OSINT Advisory Committee, consisting of members active in the sectors of Investigation (semi-government), Intelligence (government), and Civil investigation, supervision and detection (non-government).
The Advisory Committee monitors and advises on the alignment of the Registered Open Source Intelligence Expert® training with practical application in the aforementioned sectors of the labor market.
After obtaining the diploma you will benefit from the following advantages:
1. You will receive the recognized Post-HBO diploma Registered Open Source Intelligence Expert- B®
2. You will be included in the Graduate Register, which allows (future) employers to verify your diploma
3. You will earn Continuing Education (CE) points or Credits by completing this course
4. With this diploma you may be eligible for exemptions from other courses
5. The register offers you the possibility to request a replacement diploma if you lose the original diploma
Our OSINT training programs and certifications are widely recognized and highly regarded by various government agencies, as well as a wide range of international organizations outside of government. Whether you already work for such an organization or are pursuing a position with one of these employers, our OSINT training programs are a valuable addition to your resume.
For students who already hold the Registered Open Source Intelligence Expert® diploma, this diploma is considered equivalent to the Registered Open Source Intelligence Expert- B® diploma.
