Sustainability as a Core Value

At the International Anti Crime Academy (IACA), we see sustainability not merely as an additional pursuit, but as a core value woven throughout our entire organization. We are convinced that tackling crime and striving for just societies must go hand in hand with respect for the environment and our living surroundings.

That is why we take concrete measures to limit our ecological footprint as much as possible. It starts with our day-to-day operations, continues in the way we deliver our programs and extends to the building we are based in.

Disposable cups are a thing of the past: our participants receive reusable cups for their beverages. Instead of paper notebooks, we use sustainable, rewritable notebooks from Correctbook, with part of the proceeds going to charity. We also encourage electric driving as much as possible among our staff and management.

We offer numerous training programs in a live online format, so that participants do not necessarily have to travel to our main location, avoiding unnecessary CO2 emissions.

IACA is located in the Crown Business Center in Rijen, a frontrunner in sustainability. The building features no fewer than four thousand solar panels on the roof and numerous charging stations for electric vehicles. Additionally, CBC has invested heavily in energy-efficient heating systems, heat pumps and cooling machines. The entire building is fitted with LED lighting using daylight lamps.

At IACA, we are fully committed to a green and sustainable approach, both in our educational offerings and in our business operations. We are determined to promote environmentally friendly principles in everything we do.
