    Our teachers have spent many years collecting, recording and analyzing digital information for individuals, companies, police, defense and other (inter)national government services, regarding matters such as criminal and extremist organizations, fugitives, hidden assets, financial backgrounds, rogue companies and risk areas. This expertise has led to a unique recognition of the first Dutch training program in the domain of Digital Information-Driven Detection and Action .

    During this modular, classroom-based Post-HBO course you will learn how to combine and supplement information from public and semi-public sources and from social media sources (OSINT and SOCMINT) with special digital research techniques, including:

    During this module, participants will have access to a unique toolset, specially developed by IACA. This IACA toolset includes exclusive OSINT tools that are optimal for quickly searching social media sources such as Facebook and Telegram, visualizing geolocations, optimizing search engines and clearly mapping online networks and connections. In addition, participants are also taught the unique OSINT methodologies and procedures developed by IACA, which enables them to collect and analyze information in a structured and efficient manner. Due to the integration of the specific IACA toolset and methods, this training is unique and can be followed exclusively at IACA.

    Who is this training developed for?

    This practical training is highly recommended for professionals who, in their profession, need to be able to collect, document, and analyze digital information and intelligence regarding individuals, national and international companies, organizations, activities, or networks. This is essential for conducting criminal, civil, international, internal or financial investigations, and is often crucial for protecting corporate interests and maintaining national and international order and security. To make this possible, you will be intensively taught the latest techniques and trends within the field of Digital Information-Driven Investigation and Response, in which Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) is a key component.

    After completing this first module, you will have the skills to efficiently collect, process and interpret digital intelligence about individuals, national and international companies, organizations and networks. This concerns information about their financial integrity, side activities, events, locations, (mis)performance and assets. You will also learn how to track and monitor individuals and organizations online to map their current and future plans and activities. The information collected can be enriched with specific research results, resulting in a more extensive and complete intelligence picture.

    Due to the versatile practical applications, this course is particularly suitable for a broad spectrum of professionals, including employees of investigation and security services, supervisors, mortgage and insurance advisors, KYC, CDD and AML specialists, acceptors, damage experts (with PE accreditation from NIVRE) and municipal officials.

    Teaching methods: open, closed or customized
    Although this training is mainly offered in a classroom setting, we understand that you may want to ask questions in a private setting due to the nature of your work. We can provide a private training at our location for a minimum of twelve participants. We also offer fully customized training courses, based on (parts of) this module. We are happy to provide you with a tailor-made proposal.

    All our instructors have been screened and have concluded confidentiality agreements with various government services. A specific confidentiality agreement for your organization or service is also possible.
