    OSINT Module 2

    Registration

    After successful completion of the module IOSI101 you have the opportunity to participate in the second module IOSI102. This module, which lasts three days, fits in perfectly with the previously acquired knowledge and is enriched with elements that can be directly used for online data collection (OGG) in various sectors and themes, including investigation, security, undermining and financial economic crime .

    Overview of IOSI102 components:

    Unit 10: Use Case Management Systems for complex investigations

    Unit 11: Operational Information Literacy Level 2, including analysis of disinformation

    Unit 12: Digital case analysis, including financial transactions and corporate structures

    Part 13: Compiling a local forensic database

    Part 14: Importing and analyzing digital information from various sources

    Unit 15: Artificial Intelligence | Information collection and analysis

    Unit 16: Core principles of blockchain and crypto transaction research

    During this module, participants will have access to an advanced toolset, specially developed by IACA, which plays a crucial role in improving the information position.

    This toolset includes exclusive OSINT tools designed for various applications, such as quickly and effectively searching social media sources such as Facebook and Telegram, visualizing geolocations, optimizing search results and clearly mapping online networks and connections. An important part of this toolset is the OsiFactChecker®, an advanced instrument specifically developed for disinformation analysis. This tool supports researchers in checking online information for authenticity (fact-checking) and thus provides essential help in identifying and analyzing disinformation. This powerful combination of tools provides complete support for collecting, analyzing and validating information in various research and operational situations.

    In addition, participants are taught the unique OSINT methodologies and procedures developed by IACA. These methods enable them to collect and analyze information in a structured and efficient manner, both for financial and economic issues and for broader security and investigation purposes. The course provides in-depth insights into detecting various forms of crime, including financial crimes, but also into investigating complex organizational structures and tracing individuals.

    By integrating the versatile IACA toolset and methods, this training is unique and can be followed exclusively at IACA.

    Who is this training developed for?

    This practical and application-oriented training, which builds on the knowledge and skills acquired in the first module, is highly recommended for professionals who want to further specialize in collecting, documenting and analyzing digital information and intelligence. This relates to persons, national and international organizations, activities or networks. It is crucial for the effective conduct of various forms of investigation, including investigations and internal investigations, aimed at gathering information and forming a thorough intelligence picture. This is essential for both maintaining the internal integrity of organizations and maintaining national and international security and stability.

    This training is an essential step for those who want to obtain the 'Registered Open Source Intelligence Analyst®' or 'Registered Open Source Intelligence Expert®' diploma.

    Due to the versatile practical applications, this course is particularly suitable for a broad spectrum of professionals, including employees of investigation and security services, social investigators, supervisors, mortgage and insurance advisors, KYC, CDD and AML specialists, acceptors, damage experts (with PE). accreditation from NIVRE) and municipal officials.

    Teaching methods: open, closed or customized
    Although this training is mainly offered in a classroom setting, we understand that you may want to ask questions in a private setting due to the nature of your work. We can provide a private training at our location for a minimum of twelve participants. We also offer fully customized training courses, based on (parts of) this module. We are happy to provide you with a tailor-made proposal.

    All private training courses can be offered in both Dutch and English. 

    All our instructors have been screened and have concluded confidentiality agreements with various government services. A specific confidentiality agreement for your organization or service is also possible.
