### Who is the BOA program intended for?
For (prospective) special investigating officers, enforcement and supervisory staff who want to obtain the Basic Competence BOA certificate. No specific prior education is required; a good command of Dutch is necessary.

### How long is the program and what does it cost?
The program consists of eight class days. The investment is € 1,995 per participant, VAT-exempt, including lunch and certification.

### Which diploma or certificate do I earn?
After passing the national ExTH exams, you receive the Basic Competence BOA certificate. IACA also issues a certificate of attendance.

### Can I follow the program hybrid?
Yes. The first five theory lessons can be followed in person or live online in a classroom setting. The practical days take place at our location in Gilze-Rijen.

### What makes IACA's BOA program different?
Alongside the mandatory exam material, we add digital investigation, aggression management, body-language reading and interview technique.

### Are the exams administered by IACA?
No. The national exams are developed and administered by the ExTH examination body. We prepare you for them fully.
